Our Story
Passion for Wine, Shared

Meet Your Guide
Bora Akad
Bora Akad's career is built on a deep-rooted passion for French wine, cuisine, and culture. Trained at the prestigious Université de Bourgogne – Institut Jules Guyot in Dijon, one of the world's foremost institutions for viticulture and oenology, it was among the limestone-floored cellars and sunlit vineyard rows of the Côte d'Or that his calling became clear.
His warm, approachable style and long-standing relationships with local winemakers — combined with years of hands-on experience across France's most renowned wine regions — transform each visit into a truly personal experience. He works exclusively with family-owned estates, small cooperatives, and village chefs whose dedication to their craft mirrors his own.
When Bora guides a group through Burgundy or Bordeaux, Alsace or the Rhône, he shares not just the tasting notes but the stories — of the vintages that defined careers, the soils that determine character, the families whose names are inseparable from the places where they work.
That is the Epicurean difference: not a checklist of famous labels, but a deep, personal encounter with the living culture of French wine.

How We Work
The Epicurean Principles
Authenticity
We work exclusively with family-owned estates and independent producers — not tour-bus destinations. You meet the people who grow the vines and make the wine.
Craftsmanship
Each itinerary is built by hand from scratch. No two groups travel the same road. We listen carefully and design journeys that reflect your tastes and curiosity.
Depth
Wine is the lens, not the limit. History, landscape, cuisine, architecture — we explore the full context that makes each region's wines taste the way they do.
Intimacy
Small groups only. You travel in private, air-conditioned vehicles with your own certified sommelier guide. No strangers, no compromise, no rush.
